About the Artist

Artist Chiara Ziska works in multiple mediums such as graphite, collage, ceramics, and photography. Themes in her work span from feminism, greek/ roman mythology, and how the male gaze affects women in medieval and renaissance art history to present time. She is inspired by her Italian heritage and incorporates Italian Renaissance artwork in her practice to reevaluate woman's role in art history and in art itself. She graduated in December 2023 from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Photography, achieving Dean's List honors and graduating Magna Cum Laude
